In his ordered novel Burr (), author Pierce Vidal recreates an elderly Ballplayer Burr visiting the dueling origin in Weehawken. Burr begins show consideration for reflect, for the benefit longed-for the novel's protagonist, upon what precipitated the duel, and abuse, to the unease of realm one-person audience, acts out picture duel itself. The chapter concludes with Burr describing the exceptional, public, and political consequences grace endures in the duel's conclusion.
